Matthew started a trade in cabinet making and finished up fully qualified in 1999. He then moved onto work at GMH from 2001 to 2005 where he did various training courses on plc’s, Fanuc systems, Automotive Electronics and Computer Robotic systems. After the rumours that automotive manufacturing in Australia was winding down, Matthew decided to leave GMH and pursue bigger and better things.
Early 2006 Matthew commenced employment at renowned automotive/ mechanical workshop, CarToys. Fitting custom car audio systems, alarms, dvd players, boost controllers, automotive electronics and more. All of the custom work you can think of including the award winning S15 Nissan Silvia, IMMORTAL. After a few years, Matthew left CarToys to pursue a management role at an Autobarn workshop. Overseeing other installers and working on the floor, he realised that he wanted to run a business with a major focus on customer service and improvements to quality. focusing on the caravan and camping industry.
July 2011 Extreme Auto Caravan and Camping was born (formally known as Extreme Automotive and Marine Services). Since 2011 the business has grown consistently year after year, with an outstanding reputation for quality work and exceptional customer service. Extreme Auto Caravan and Camping are completely mobile, providing greater convenience and service to every customer. Always dealing with the latest products and services the industry has to offer.
